Certification Statement

There are several forms this certification statement can take depending on what or to whom something is being certified to. For example, in Missouri, professional land surveyors are required to make a statement on their survey plats like this: "This survey and or subdivision was executed in accordance with the Missouri Standards for Property Boundary Surveys". This is shown in Section 4, paragraph "P" of 2 CSR 90-60.030 General Land Surveying Requirements.

Other certification statements can be those of subdivision developers who are dedicating easements and rights of way for public use. You will see this kind of certification listed on the subdivision plat along with their signature and a notary stamp.
