ALTA/NSPS Survey

An ALTA/ NSPS Land Title Survey, or ALTA survey for short, is a comprehensive survey performed during the due diligence process of buying high value commercial property usually. This type of survey adheres to the Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and is usually accompanied by a fillable Table A list of specific client requirements.

So, unless you're buying a gas station, nursing home, a fast food property, a hotel, or an apartment complex, then you probably will not need an ALTA Survey.
